Colani Solutions was established in 2004 by Tina Walsworth. Initially, the company offered sales engineer consulting services for middleware software. By 2006, Colani Solutions had assumed a greater marketing role by providing graphic and web design services for both commercial and non-profit organizations.
Tina's success with Colani Solutions builds on over ten years of experience at companies including IBM and Visionary Design Systems (VDS), a Hewlett-Packard partner. At both companies her responsibilities included consulting and pre-sales engineering support for various software products. These roles required numerous customer facings performing tasks such as software installation, product demonstration, application customization, sales presentations, training and project management of resources. Futhermore, Tina actively participated in the generation of proposals, evaluation plans, and Proof of Concepts (POC).
To enhance her skill sets, Tina decided to incorporate front-end system experience with her expertise in back-end and middleware systems by obtaining a BA in Design Studies with emphasis in Graphic Design at San Jose State University. Also, she holds an AS in Electronics Engineering and work towards a BS in Computer Engineering. To further build on this experience, she is pursuing a MS in Mass Communications focusing on Internet Marketing at San Jose State University to compliment her education.
